Of course, you can also pick up a few flower starts, like violas or nasturtiums from Sequim Prairie Star, too, to give mom the gift of flowers that keeps on giving, and how about a drought hardy and lovely succulent from Phocas Farm?

Please, enjoy what is shaping up to be another sunny, warm and spectacular day at the Ballard Farmers Market. Gather up all you need to make mom the perfect Mother’s Day supper. Pick her up a nice pair of earrings, a sweet scented candle or two, and maybe something sweet for dessert, as well. But whatever you do, do not¬†forget the flowers!
