Visit Our Neighbors’ Businesses

Ballard Farmers Market is about supporting local family-owned businesses. And that doesn’t stop with the family farms, artisan food producers, concessionaires and artists who sell at the market every Sunday. It extends to the many businesses who share their block with us every Sunday — businesses that are also open throughout the week.

Support our local economy and local jobs. Remember, a dollar spent at a local business recirculates within our community many times over, helping to stabilize our local economy, thus protecting our own jobs, whereas a dollar spent at the big box store that is based in some faraway place immediately exits our community, likely never to be seen again.

Please support our neighboring Ballard Avenue businesses. Shop local. Shop Ballard!

  1. Cathy Katte Says:

Please add the R-Shoppe to the list of businesses open at the Farmers Market. The address is 5425 Ballard Avenue.
This is a thrift shop operated by the Ryther Child Center League, a non-profit organization which supports the Ryther Child Center in Seattle.
    Thank you.
